Builds Aimpoint-branded PowerPoint slides & decks from start to finish: storyboard, design, layout, build, template merge, visual QA. Output is a finished .pptx with logo, footer, and template formatting, plus preview images of every slide.

Pre-loaded in Claude Enterprise chat, and available in Claude Code as /apd-pptx-design (source · tests).

How to use

  1. Open Claude Enterprise chat (skill is pre-loaded) or Claude Code (/apd-pptx-design)
  2. Ask for an Aimpoint deck; attach any context: notes, Word docs, screenshots of slides to redo
  3. Review the preview images, then the file
Build a 5-slide Aimpoint pitch deck for Meridian Logistics from these
discovery notes: [paste]. Takeaways: fragmented legacy systems today,
our 3-phase modernization approach, 40% reporting-time reduction at Acme.

Tips

Do Why
Target 1–5 slides Densest, best-looking design; longer decks work but thin out per slide
Prep notes on a cheaper model first Research and consolidation don't need Opus
Provide everything upfront Best decks land in 1–2 turns; drip-feeding revisions burns money
Put takeaways in the prompt Titles come out as claims ("Q3 revenue fell 12% on churn"), not labels
Use Claude Code for volume Same quality, cheaper via caching; chat credit goes fast
Verify every number The build prints a list of each figure used; the final check is yours

Troubleshooting

Build errors about titles, layouts, or geometry Normal. The skill lints itself; let it fix and rebuild.
Deck missing logo or footer The template merge didn't run. Ask it to finish the deck. Don't ship an unmerged file.
Generic grid-of-boxes output The brief was too thin. Add takeaways and real content, then rebuild.
Claude Code: skill won't run Run `bash /scripts/setup.sh` once; `READY` means good. Needs Node 22+, no npm or pip. If it reports a FAIL it prints the exact fix.
